Hosting your own painting party is a great way to spend quality time and create memories with friends and family from the comfort of your own home or the location of your choosing!

 

The Mobile Painting Party will bring everything you need to paint (food and drinks not included) to the location where you are hosting your very own painting party!  Painting parties are perfect for get-togethers with friends, a creative kids birthday party,

a unique sweet sixteen, shower, or a fabulous fundraiser.

 

And there’s no need for goodie bags, since each guest will leave the party

with their own hand painted masterpiece as their party favor!

 

Whether you’ve painted before or never put a brush to canvas, we will provide you with step-by-step instruction and guidance to create your own masterpiece. In other words, no artistic skill is required!   Schedule your painting party today and discover your inner artist!

Step 2: We will contact you to let you know if that date and time is avaiable, and to discuss the type of painting we can create for your group to paint

 

Step 3:  We will email you a Painting Party Reservation form which you will need to fill out and return along with a $50.00 deposit. This deposit is put towards the purchase of supplies and will be applied to your final total invoice.  Receipt of the reservation form and deposit will secure your event date. What we do:    We bring the painting activity to your event.  We can create a specialized feature painting that is meaningful for your occasion, party guest of honor, or party theme.   While there is only one featured painting at a party, guests are still welcome to do their own thing and paint whatever they want during the session.  Guests can also exercise artistic license and add their own touches and interpretation to their version of the featured painting.

 

We supply:   step-by-step painting instruction, painting supplies, paints, 11” x 14” canvases, palettes, brushes, white table coverings, pre-sketched canvases for children’s parties, a sample model painting, water bowls and towels, setup and cleanup of each guest’s paint area.  If needed, we even bring assistants to help refill paint for guests.

 

Party Time-frame & Cost:

This is your party at your place, so your party can last as long as you want, but the painting session depends on the age of your guests and the level of detail in the painting that you choose.  Below is a guidline:

 

ADULTS + teens age 16 & up will paint for 1 ½ - 2 1/2 hours.

Cost: $20 per person, 15 painter min.  

Fundraisers: $15 pp, 15 painter min, 

and you mark up your organization's ticket price.

 

KIDS age 5-8 will paint for 45 minutes to 1 hour

(Canvases are pre-sketched for ages 5-8)

Cost: $15 per person, 10 painter min.  

Fundraisers:  $10 pp, 15 painter min, 

and you mark up your organization's ticket price.

 

KIDS age 9-15 will paint for 1 hour – 1 hour 15 minutes.

(Pre-sketched canvas optional)

Cost: $15 per person, 10 painter min.  

Fundraisers: $10 pp, 15 painter min, 

and you mark up your organization's ticket price.

 

We will arrive about 30-60 minutes early for set-up, and stay about 30 minutes after to clean up.   It is also a good idea to do the painting at the beginning of your party.  This will give the paintings extra time to dry while your guests are socializing, opening gifts, or while kids are doing other party activities.

 

Number of Guests:

 

The maximum number depends on your venue, so plan ahead how many tables can fit in the room.  When determining how many tables you will need, keep in mind that a painting party place setting is wider than a normal dining place setting.  For a comfortable paint and sip party, each guest painter's workspace should be 36” wide x 14” high to accommodate each painters canvas, painting supplies, and any food and drinks at the table. If there will be no food or drinks at the painting table then 24" wide x 14" high is sufficient.

 

You supply:

a venue with ample space, tables and folding chairs, set up of the tables and chairs (including 1 or 2 small tables to be used as paint stations), simple refreshments or cake for your guests, as well as the cups and paper supplies needed for the refreshments.  It is suggested that a space with sufficient lighting be used. We will need access to running water and a sink.   If you have a very large crowd, you may want to consider a microphone.  If your party is outside, you might consider using a tent in case of rain.  For a fundraiser, you will need to promote your event. 

 

Alcohol:  

The party is at your home or venue so it's totally up to you to decide if alcohol is permitted.  If you choose to serve alcohol at your event, The Mobile Painting Party is not liable for any accident or injury resulting from the consumption of alcohol. This responsibility lies solely upon the party host and/or party venue owner. We do not supply alcohol or food.

 

Booking:

Requests are accepted on a first-come first-served basis.   If you fall short of the minimum number of guests required you can still have your party, but you will still be charged for the required minimum number of people.  To reserve your date we require a completed reservation form, a $50.00 deposit and your estimated total headcount.  The security deposit will be applied to your final bill.  We will need a general headcount one week before your party in order to purchase supplies, and the final head count 48 hours before the party. 

 

Cancellation policy:

If you need to cancel your party, please email your cancellation in writing 48 hours before the scheduled date, and confirm that we have received your notification.  The security deposit is not refundable if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of your party, but can be applied to a future rescheduled date.  The remaining balance will be due from the party host or fundraising organization in the form of one check when we arrive to set up at your party.  Final guest count must be made 48 hours prior to your party in order to purchase and prep supplies.  It is a good idea for the host to convey this to the guests.  We cannot accommodate last minute add-on guests, and we cannot provide refunds for “no-shows”.   You will be charged for the full headcount that is submitted.

 

If WE need to cancel your event due to illness, extreme weather, or any unforeseen emergency circumstances, you will be refunded your security deposit in full, or you can apply it to rescheduling a future date.

 

Guest attire:

Please advise your guests to wear comfortable “play clothes” that they wouldn’t mind getting paint on.  We use only non-toxic, water soluble acrylic paints. However, the paints become water-resistant when they dry and can sometimes stain.

 

Tipping:

While there is no need to tip the instructor, Bonnie Porter, the party host or guests are welcome to tip the assistants if you are happy with their efforts. Our assistants keep 100% of their tips which are gratefully accepted and appreciated.  The assistants we hire are teenagers, and a tip is never required or expected but would certainly make their day!
